The X-Files stars David Duchovny (Fox) and Gillian Anderson (Dana) were seen romancing each other in every episode, as if their relationship was very strong. But in real life, their relationship behind the camera was not like that. But in real life, they were always fighting behind the scenes, as they had to see each other during the eight series. One cast member said, "It's annoying to be together for long periods." The two would fight so much that it was difficult to even be in the same room.
