Susan Ford Bales is the only daughter of US President Gerald Ford and First Lady Betty Ford. When her father was in the Oval Office, she was studying at George Washington University. She began her career as a photographer and journalist. Susan married her father's former bodyguard. When her mother opened the "Betty Ford Center", Susan became its second president.
