Federer won major titles for three consecutive years in 2004, 2006, and 2007 and also holds the record for winning Wimbledon and the US Open 5 times in a row. In 2009, he completed his Grand Slam by winning the French Open. He broke Pete Sampras' record of 14 Grand Slam titles at the age of 27.
