Margaret Woodrow Wilson, the eldest daughter of President Woodrow Wilson and First Lady Ellen Louise Exton, was born in 1914. When Margaret Woodrow Wilson's mother suddenly died, she took over as First Lady. When her father remarried, he handed over all his responsibilities to her stepmother Edith Bolling and in 1938 Margaret moved to an ashram in Pondicherry, India, to live there forever.
