The Most Impactful First Daughters in History

20. Elizabeth Harrison Walker

Elizabeth Harrison Walker was the daughter of President Benjamin Harrison and his second wife, Mary Dimick. She was born after the presidency, so she is not considered a first daughter, but her life was special nonetheless. During World War I, she attended a service camp in New Jersey. There she learned horseback riding, marksmanship, sign language, hiking, and first aid. She was a courageous and intelligent woman.
